Deacons Ministry
President — Deacon Sidney Hill
The Deacons Ministry has the responsibilities and duties as outlined in the New Testament and assigned by the Pastor. Some of these duties include visiting the sick, preparing and distributing the elements of the Lord's Supper, and cooperating with and assisting the Pastor in the performance of his duties.
Deaconess Ministry
President — Deaconess Wanda Hill
The Deaconess Ministry consists of women who are dedicated to service. Their duties include visiting the sick and those who are helpless and in need. They also assist with Baptism under the direction of the Pastor. They are visible and available during church services and activities.
Trustee Ministry
Chairman — Deacon/Trustee Alvin Reavis, Sr.
The Trustee's primary responsibility is the church's property, which includes all repairs (inside and out) when notified of such problems. They are also responsible for opening and closing of the church for all functions prior to the beginning of church functions. They are also the custodian of all the Church's monies.
Sunday School
Superintendent — Deacon Rochelle Johnson
The Sunday School has class every Sunday morning. The curriculum and materials used in the class coincide with the beliefs and practices of our church.
Ushers Ministry
President — Deacon Rochelle Johnson
The Ushers shall act to maintain order during services. They serve for the comfort of the congregation as well as greet people as they enter the sanctuary.
Music Ministry
President — Sis. Leior White
The Music Ministry consists of the Gospel Chorus. They provide music for Sunday services. They also serve with the Pastor during his various engagements.
Missionary Ministry
President — Deacon Rochelle Johnson
The Missionary Ministry's main focus is to serve and help those in need.
Willing Workers Ministry
President — Deaconess/Trustee Jacqueline Haskins
The Willing Workers Ministry serves and helps the church in any way possible with various projects. They help with the beautification of the church as well as help people in the community who are in need.
Health and Wellness Ministry
Chairperson — Sis. Cynthia Hill
The Health and Wellness Ministry provides information and workshops for members of the church and community to help them better maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Women's Ministry
Chairperson — Sis. Carolyn Robinson
The Women's Ministry assists with the local foodbank in collecting food for people in need during the holidays.
Pastor's Aide Committee
Chairperson — Deaconess/Trustee Jacqueline Haskins
The purpose of this committee is to take care of the needs of the pastor, especially before and after each morning worship service.
Historical Committee
Chairperson — Sis. Joyce Harmon
The Historical Committee's purpose is to preserve the church's history and provide a secure storage area for the history.
Hospitality Committee
Chairperson — Deaconess Wanda Hill
The goal of this committee is to carry out a well-organized, planned ministry of hospitality to help meet church fellowship needs, which may include preparing and serving meals when needed.
Education Committee
Chairperson — Sis. Darlene Brown
The Education Committee determines who receives the church's yearly educational scholarship.
Cemetery Committee
Chairperson — Sis. Georgia Gordon
The Cemetery Committee is responsible for keeping records of the numbers of plots, and names of owners of the plots. They must also make sure the maintenance of the cemetery is well maintained.
